Roadmap
A glimpse of what's to come in Woodentable.
Now
- Documentation updates. The guides on this site, brought up to date with how Woodentable works today.
- AI from other providers.
woodentable aiwill work with hosted AI services as well as the models it runs on your own machine. Nothing goes to a provider unless you set one up. - Woodentable in the cloud. Official Docker images for running Woodentable on a server or a cloud host, with its workspace and tools kept apart from the agents that use them.
Next
- Graphical interface. An organiser for adding folders, browsing, tagging and collecting files. Whatever you organise there is exactly what your agents see.
- Connecting one Woodentable to another. Adding a Woodentable as a server to another, so one workspace can use another's files and tools.
Later
- Declarative AI agents. Describe an agent in one file: its instructions, the files and tools it may use, and the model it runs on. Talk to it at the console, run it from a script, let it hand work to other agents, or call it from any MCP client.
- Forum and issue tracker. A public place to ask questions, find earlier answers, and report bugs.
